About Me
My spare time is spent wild swimming around my county, gardening, and walking my dogs through the woods, fields and moors near my village. Aside from illustrating, my biggest interest is natural history, specifically that of the British Isles; I love reading about native wildlife, and researching and digesting works by naturalists and botanists alike.Â
I am an illustrator working with a range of mediums exploring themes of closeness to nature, human connection and traditional practices. Living in rural Yorkshire, my inspiration comes from the countryside around me and the village life and community.Â

Currently, I am completing a BA Illustration degree at Norwich University of the Arts. I have a keen interest in exploring what illustration can mean, and throughout my degree I've been enjoying investigating surface design and paper ephemera, and how the two can be used for story telling.Â

My Studio
I currently have a small studio space in the corner of my house; although it is only a little workshop, this is where many of my illustrations come to life. I make sure to have lots of my inspiration in my studio; collections of photos, natural forms like conkers or acorns, and piles of books for referencing. Lots of my mediums and materials are stored in vintage trays, tins and cabinets, so my workspace can sometimes feel like my own treasure trove.Â
